Established in 2023 by Nathan Martin, Dark Forest Theatre is an independent, travelling theatre company based in the heart of Northern Ireland. We are dedicated to the craft of authentic and compelling storytelling, with a focus on creating work that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant.

Our mission is to bring the art of performance and powerful storytelling to audiences. We have presented work in numerous venues, both within and beyond Belfast, inviting audiences into worlds they may not have encountered before. Our productions explore themes of identity, sexuality, folklore, myth, and the intricate complexities of human nature.
