A storm is coming!

This Christmas season, step into a magical winter adventure in this playful 60-minute theatre show set in the town of Lurgan during the winter of the Great Wind of 1839, a storm of unprecedent destruction.

 

Lurgan is deep in winter. Snow has fallen across the town, children play in the streets, fires burn in the hearths and families prepare for Christmas.

But something is wrong. 

The winter seems to be different and strange things begin happening. And the children of Lurgan begin to tell stories about a mysterious woman seen walking among the trees. She is known as the Winter Hag. The Cailleach. She is powerful figure from legend who has taken control of winter and intends to keep the land frozen forever. 

One family must journey into the mysterious Winter Woods, uncover the secret behind the Cailleach's anger and find a way to bring winter to an end.
